I have a 2007 TCH 210k. Brake, red triangle warning, orange circle warning and ABS lights and CHECK VSC SYSTEM message suddenly came on while on highway the other day. No loss of power to brakes (or to transmission). For several months, brakes have been oddly quickly intermittent (more/less grabby), but only when the brake pedal is lightly pressed while at light, in stop-and-go traffic, or slowly rolling to a stop. Otherwise they seem to function normally.
    OBD2 scanner
reports no trouble codes. The only reading reported is OBD-II Calibration ID: 33380200 Calibration Verification Numbers (CVN): p
Toyota replaced the Brake Actuator Assembly 7 years ago as part of the "Warranty Enhancement" agreement.
Any thoughts on what the problem could be? Thanks!

From what I've read on several forums, you seem to have a better grasp on these issues than most do. I appreciate any help you can offer! Thanks for taking the time.

Hello. I've got a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, 230,000 miles on it. A hybrid specialists came up with several codes: P3107; C1310; C1313; C1568; V(?)0105. He was only concerned with C1568 which lead me to replace the inverter on my own, a used one from a scrap yard. I verified with a dealer that the recall work had been done on that particular inverter. All dash lights except the red triangle were gone. I hooked it up to a scanner and came out with P0A80. I replaced with good, used hybrid batteries, and they hold a charge nicely. But! The red triangle is still up. Threw a scanner on it, and now all I can come up with is C1310. I have searched high and low, and I've found very little about this code and what I can actually do about it. For now, I'll drive the rig and see if a few hundred miles of driving gets the system cleared out. Any thoughts on C1310? And any ideas if there's an OBDII scanner out there that can actually get into this car and read everything that's stored?

Greetings from monterey california. I'm looking at buying a 2006 prius with 150,000 miles and check engine code P0A94. The previous owner stated that she was just driving along and the car just shut off and it had to be towed. When i went to inspect the car, the 12v battery was dead so i hooked up jumper cables to the correct locations and scanned the ecu with my scan tool to get this code. I understand that the high voltage systems in these cars can be extremely dangerous and lesser men have succumb to the deadly voltage of these vehicles. Being an enthusiast in electric hobby grade rc cars and trucks and airplanes, i'm familiar with how they work and facinaterd <--HAHA what a typo. Fascinated to say the least. My question is what are the best and worst cased scenarios? Looking for guidance moving forward.

I have a 2008 Camry Hybrid with 211k. I just got a "check hybrid system" message. I have nav and can see the hybrid system is no longer functioning (no arrows are anything). I did start the day with 1 purple bar and now it has like 6 blue bars.

What are your recommendations - seek dealer or someone outside?

Will it hurt to drive on the ICE till I get it figured out (or can afford a solution)

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid with 115,000 miles. Four months ago I got the "Check Hybrid System" "Check VSC" messages. My mechanic's diagnostic said replace hybrid battery. I pulled the hybrid battery checked the modules. All were nominal at around 7.5 volts. Cleaned corrosion on bus bars and monitor terminals remounted the battery. Messages were gone car drove fine. A week ago the messages occurred again along with sluggish response to accellorator pedal. Replaced the Hybrid battery with a Dorman refurbished battery. Messages went away. Test drove it 5 miles all OK. Started the car 3 days later, backed out of garage messages returned. My mechanic's diagnostics said replace hybrid battery. They replaced it with another Dorman refurbished battery. Test drove it 20 miles all OK except energy monitor first showed 1 bar then jumped immediately to 6 bars after 5 miles. Started the car the next day, messages returned after backing out of my garage. What's going on?

Hi, I have a 2009 Toyota Camry, I got the diagnostics, but I don't have the funds to fix everything, is there a specific code you know if u see it to tell me which one to fix the horrible sound it makes when I start it up?

Thank you for the quick reply GeorgiaHybrid, before attempting this i am simply worried that i might not be able to deal with the weird message if i get one, i have tried researching online for instruction on how to install the battery but to no avail, could you by any chance have any more detailed instructions on how to do this or a link where i would be able to read up on it myself? Thank you once again

    Hello,

Dear GeorgiaHybrid, i have a 2009 toyota hybrid camry and i have the pinging sound that goes away if i let up on the pedal or if i give it more gas, i have read some of your comments and i am convinced that you are correct, you mentioned that with an ECU reset i might possibly be able to fix this problem, do you mind telling me how do i perform an ECU reset? is it as simple as disconnecting the Battery(located in the trunk) for 5 min+ and then reconnecting it? or do i need to bring this in to a dealer with specialized equipment so they can reset it for me. Thank you very much for your help, and i apologize for contacting you out of the blue like this.
