Hello everyone. By 2006 Ford escape has the ABS and check brake system light on. My mechanic says that the code is coming up for the ABS control module. I understand that The pump for the ABS and the computer are all one part and I'm being told that just the part is approximately $4000. Has anyone experienced this part failing on them and what they might have done to correct the problem. Is it possible that that component needs a software update? Please help
