My aux transmission pump failed at a maximally inconvenient time. I was an 8 hour tow from home. I had to drive home towing the trailer with my OBDII code reader plugged in. Every time it would code out and go into some kind of limp mode I would pull over, read the code and reset it.

The repair was warranted. The transmission is super complicated and I guess needs all kinds of fluid pumped around to work. There were no spare parts so the Chevy dealer finally took one off a truck on the lot for sale. It has worked fine since then.
