That's exactly what i was referring to.I thought this was supposedly one of the reasons ford set the tow limit at 1000lbs's

Yeah i can do all that no problem, but what I meant was with 4wd accelerating much past 30 doesn't happen. And yeah like you said it is a waste of your SOC.

I can get up to maybe 32, but generally 30 is about the limit.

don't the trailer weight limitations have something to do with the reliance on one of the electric motors for reverse? Basically the same reason you can't back over a curb you are stoppped against.

OK update, the lights worked for about 5 minutes. My right turn signal went out a short way into my drive last weekend. Even with disconnecting the trailer, and switching the bulb it still doesn't...

I have the box without the 12v supply, It works lights on or off on a small 4x8 uHaul trailer (which is about all the FEH should be towing, actually over the 1000lb limit when loaded) I think it has...

Yeah right now I just plan on towing one of the smallest two uHaul trailers. I may get a trailer for my motorcycle and various other things later so this is a good excuse to put led's on it.

OK so you can use the same transponder key from 05 on. Which means the key hasn't physically changed, and the transponders are the same. Did the remote change when it was integrated into the key?...

That picture shows the back of the factory nav unit I think. Is there another place to find it I'm just finding a lot of discussion on tricking the factory unit with a vss switch.

Can anyone point me to where I can find a safe VSS wire to use, and what color it is. I've installed a Pioneer AVIC D3 in my 06 FEH and decided i want the extra accuracy that it had in my old car....
