Above 62 mph, teh EV part doesn't work. See if you can get a day of under 60 for the round trip and what the MPG is.

Placed an order for the new Fusion

Was holding off for details on the Energi's price but couldn't wait any longer. 8-10 week is what the wait should be.

I'll need to turn in my coupe for a 4 door car soon. Was hoping to get a plug-in hybrid and the Fusion seemed the best fitting for what we wanted.

No they didn't say what the codes were. They didn't charge the $102 either since it was under warranty, I just paid the deductible of $50. Glad I went for the extended warranty, I'm just past 50K.

Got the car back from the dealer. They replaced the Throttle body. Not quite sure what that is or what it does.

The extra gas might be needed in the tank to keep the fuel pump cool, if the FEH follows the same design as other cars.

Any chance the EPA will waive exhaust standards for hybrids?

From what I understand, hybrids need to warm the engine (& catalytic converter) at startup to meet EPA standards for the exhaust. If this wasn't the case then for local runs, you might be able to run...

Can ez-pass be mounted on the windshield? I had an exterior one that someone backed into and now doesn't work. I rather put it inside if it works there.

No tire pressure sensor on FEH 06?

My wife's FEH had a flat this morning. There's was no message on the panel for low tire pressure. Luckily I was driving and felt the flat, I doubt she would have noticed until the highway.

FEH gets a little beat up

About a month ago, I was in a parking lot when a Jeep backed up into the FEH. Did some damage to the bumper and put a leak in a coolant line. That's when I first learned about the electronics coolant...

Anyone hear of any new CDs in the works? Is there an usual update cycle for whoever it is that updates the CDs that comes with the Escapes?
