Guys...Don't know if this would be dumb question.
I want to figure out if I am over paying for my 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L.

I have a scheduled delivery for 06/30 and my dealer gave me a price of $30,200 + $590 doc fee + taxes.

Can you please let me know if there is any room for negotiation?

The best way is to ask for quotes from multiple dealers online, then agree to the price before you even walk into the dealer.

Unfortunately there is not much negotiating room for the 2014 HAH because there is limited supply and its a good seller.

I got a quote for the 'Touring' that was about $1100 below the MSRP. (I'm sure that was before doc fees/taxes). I think they offered $34,400 when the MSRP is $35,595 or so

 

If you really want a good deal, offer them $29,500 + $590 + Taxes. But you have to be willing to walk out the door if they can't give you that price.

Debated between the Prius and the Accord but ended up buying my Accord Ex hybrid today. Got it for $27,643.

 

oh man...thats ridiculously low pricing for an EX-L. Are you sure its $27,643?

The best I have seen is $29600 with my dealer and I am planning to take the delivery on Monday.

 

I just got the Ex, no L. But yeah, that was the price.

Actually the trims say a Base, EX-L and Touring.
When you said EX, I thought its an EX-L.

Yeah you're right, got the base. Got confused because I had been checking out the standard accords too. I just used Truecar and they matched the price.

So finally, I bought the EX-L and I got it for $29,600+$590 fees+ taxes.

I got the Tinted Glass, Splash Guards, All season mats and Cargo Trunk tray part of the price.

Just ordered the Sill Trim and Side Moldings to do it myself.
