Burdick isn't bad either! Glad you like Syracuse...I hope all the snow isn't keeping you stuck at home!
Sorry for the side conversation everyone.

The Bay Area has a glut of both TCHs and Priuses [sp?]. I paid $27,995 for a vehicle with an MSRP of $30,995. This was about one month ago. My ex just got $2500 off MSRP on a Prius at a different dealer.
For what its worth, I used Edmund.com & entered a Bay Area zip code when asked if I wanted quotes. The Internet sales staff seemed to understand that it's all about price.

Try Mountain State Toyota in Denver
In reply to the original poster, my wife and I just bought a TCH on 2/21/07 at Mountain State Toyota for just about invoice. We walked into the dealership on Monday night at 7:30, found a saleswoman, took a test drive, found the optioned vehicle we liked on their lot, and got our final price; all in only 45 minutes.
We slept on the decision, checked out other dealers Tuesday morning, and went back to Mountain State at noon to buy our new car. Go Toyota and Stevenson Toyota were unwilling to go much below MSRP, while Mountain State's first offer was very close to invoice. Never tried Burt because of a poor buying experience before. Plus, Mountain State had the largest hybrid selection on their lot.
We ended up with moonroof, floor mats/trunk liner, and heated mirrors as the only options and paid $25,399 before tax and registration.
Ask for Shawn in sales; she was very helpful and courtious, plus seemed interested in the hybrid technology.

December 2006, I got my TCH with navigation and leather seats for $27,000 + title and tag. It took me half a day at the dealership with the last hour arguing over $80 but they finally gave in. The manager claims to have sold it to me under invoice but I'm pretty sure their invoices are inflated.

You can say that again. When I was searching for my TCH in summer 06, I could hardly find an available TCH from San Francisco to Monterey. It took me 4 weeks to find a car and that was only because it was a cancelled order and I happened to call the dealer the same day it was cancelled and being delievered. However, I drove by Capitol Toyota in San Jose last weekend, and they had at least 5 TCH's sitting on the lot. Then I drove by Victory Toyota in Seaside/Monterey a few days later and there were at least 2 at that dealer. I think that the KY plant is now pumping out TCH's faster than they can be absorbed by buyers.

I bought my fully loaded TCH for $28,300 3 weeks ago (2nd week of February). Sticker was $30,929, with leather, nav, heated seats, sunroof, etc.
I did my pricing through Sams Club and got a couple hundred dollars off the initial dealer offer price of $29,000. Try checking some of the online sites like CarMax as comparisons (their price on my car was $28,700)
Best of luck

Bought my TCH mid-February. Paid 27500, a little over invoice and below MSRP. I used carsdirect, kbb and one other online service to get quotes from dealers in the area. Some were high, two were willing to negotiate. Settled on a price and dealer beforehand. Went in to sign the paperwork and pay them. Drove off an hour later.
