Anyone paying less than MSRP for Camry Hybrids in 2007?

Re: Anyone paying less than MSRP for Camry Hybrids in 2007?
I used Edmonds to ask for quotes in the Twin Cities. Only Toyota City came back with much of a discount. They offered $500 over invoice for a loaded vehicle - with everything I was looking for, including color. Bought it the next day: $28,480 plus tax and title. Rudy Luther and Maplewood wouldn't budge from sticker price.

Get them soon as they predict gasoline to start to climb peaking out at $3.50 per gallon by mid summer. Anything with decent fuel milage is going to be going at a premium. A nice artical in the paper today about San Francisco is at an average of $3.10 and Hawaii $3.20, Mpls is at $2.42 for regular unleaded.

Re: Anyone paying less than MSRP for Camry Hybrids in 2007?
I’ve been shopping now for over two months. Still can’t decide between Camry and the Prius. Here in Southern California, for the Camry, all four dealers (internet sales) I’ve contacted or willing to sell any TCH option package C for less than $28,000. One dealer agreed to a TCH option package C including designation charge for $27,500, if one is willing to accept a purchase from the 4 least popular colors.
Email to last dealer
XXXXX,
Though I live in Corona, I've purchased my last two of three Toyotas from you guys. The last was purchased….yadda, yadda, yadda, I'll be ready to buy either by the end of next week or during the last week of February.
If you can make this same deal ........
......$30,929 at the MSRP but at $27,500 …..
On a Silver Camry Hybrid with the options package C, you are guaranteed a sell. (Scout's Honor). And mainly...quite frankly...I'm tired of shopping around comparing prices. With all the phone calls , yadda, yadda, yadda.. this endeavor is no longer cost efficient....nor fun.
For Silver/Titanium Metallic Camry Hybrid (there seems to be a lot of them out there)
1. Miller Toyota
Factory FE CQ LA NV SR
Port BM CF
$27,785
2. Quality Toyota
Factory FE CQ LA NV SR
Port CF
$27,708
3. Riverside Toyota
Factory FE CQ LA NV SR
Port CF
$27,650
Response (internet sales)
I do not have silver and I can not sell a silver one at under cost though... and that's under cost.
I can sell the black, the desert sand, or the blue package C at $27,500. I have one of each on my lot.
When you are paying me profit, you have a little more leverage as to color.
When I am taking a loss, it's up to us what we're willing to take a loss deal on... are you cool with one of those three colors?
I also have gray, white and but at the same costs as the ones you listed from those other dealers! And just arrived is one in Jasper Pearl for an additional cost of one arm and one leg..(Ha, Ha, just kidding…one leg will do.).
Can you hang with one of these?

Sorry, I don’t know how to post pics)
Come see me this Saturday. I'm here till 6.
DO NOT speak with anyone else or you end up with retail guys, and they are not going to sell at under cost like I am. :>
I decided not to by because of confusion and indecision. When I got there, they were true to their word. But I messed up and asked about pricing for the Prius. Why did I do that...........

Re: Anyone paying less than MSRP for Camry Hybrids in 2007?
I just got my Red Camry Hybrid on Saturday, after spent less than 3 hours over the phone periodically spend on the phone with 3 different dealer in my living room, finally settled the fully loaded (Nav. Sunroof, leather) for $27700 plus tax and title, still less than $30k out the door. I think I was pretty successful on that deal. Make sure you got the dealer to fax to you with the written confirmation down to the final price with the cents after the dismal that you will write on the check. At one point I got 2 dealer on the phone, they end up in the bidding war to lower their price. The actually MSRP was $31124. They asked me to pay deposit over the phone to hold the car for me, but I declined. After I arrive the dealership to finalized the deal, they've used the old trick to lure for more money, but I told them I would more than happy to visit the other dealer offered me the other price (with the other dealer's fax confirmation on my hand). My advice is to TRY NOT TO GET TOO COMFORTABLE IN THE DEALERSHIP AND GET READY TO WALK OUT THE DOOR. Don't even talk to them too long or they will bring you into the number game.
Good Luck, from whom Hate to Shop for car

Fired Up, my nephew found us a great deal on the Camry hybrid. We were only looking at the bare bones model, and our price was (I think) about $24,500, but my nephew thought that they might actually go as low as $24,000. The Carmy hybrid with the navigation system and all the extras was only in the 27,000s. I don't remember the exact figure, but it was great, especially since all the safety features in the Camry hybrid are standard.

I just picked up my 07 Camry Hybrid Silver/Gray last night for $24,490 with a sticker of $27,019, the only option being the floor mats. I had returned a base Camry LE to another dealership cause they couldn't get a bank to buy me, so I lucked out big time!!!
