Check all the fuses. Check the wireing harness for a connector that isn't seated properly or fully inserted. Failing that take it into the dealer.

HI,

I have a 2005 HCH and am having the same problem. The IMA light is on and the D light is flashing. Also the radio does not work nor do the power locks.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

I have checked/replaced all fuses and have also disconnected the battery, neither have worked.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Wish I could be of more help here, but I checked the manual and it says for both the IMA light and the D flashing light you should take the car to the dealer, where they will connect the car to their diagnostic system, which will pull up the diagnostic trouble codes that indicate what the problem could be.
If the battery was disconnected, and the radio display reads "COdE", you need to enter in your car's 5-digit code with the preset buttons to reset the audio system.
Too bad the original poster and others who had the same symptoms didn't say what their outcome was; their posts are a few years old now.

Had a similar problem with my 05 civic hybrid. The car would stall when downshifting into second gear and the check engine light/IMA light would come on. As soon as I pushed the clutch back in, the engine would start again. Freaked me out. Took the car into the dealer and haven't had any trouble since (2 years ago). They did a software update. Don't know if this will help you or not.

I have the EXACT same problem with my 2005 Honda Civic. I am at about 60,000 miles and my battery was having problems (the car would randomly have problems starting), so I had it replaced. After I picked it up from the shop, and my car had the following problems:

-- my audio system and clock are not working. This is not an issue of entering the anti-theft code. There is no power at all going to the audio system and the word "code" is not shown on the display board like it normally would after losing power.

-- the IMA and engine light are on

-- the green light next to "Drive" is flashing, not constant, while I am driving

-- my car alarm is not working

-- if I open the door with my lights on, I do not hear a beeping sound like I normally would

I'm taking my car into a Honda dealer today, and I hope it is just an issue of having the computer updated (which is still covered under my warranty). I will keep you all posted.

So I had the same EXACT issue as DC_Coor.

- No Radio
- Blinking D
- Check Engine Light on
- Remote Key did not work
- IMA light on

All this happened when the car was jumped.

I tracked the problem down to one fuse:

Fuse #9 - 10amps under the hood
I was amazed that replacing one fuse fixed all of the above issues.

I was not able to track this fuse down through other methods. I just pulled every fuse and noticed that it was blown.

Hope this helps others.

I located the little fuse box by the battery, I did see a blue engine picture, but I can't tell if that "fuse" is bad or not. There is no window to see anything inside.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I had the same symtoms. Radiator tank was low on coolant. Filled it up and symptoms went away. Probably a small leak somewhere and causing engine to overheat and mess up the electronics.

Also, when the ignition is off, the keyless entry does not work, the doors won't even lock with the lock.unlock switch.

I checked every fuse under the dash and under the hood, and my front battery is fine.

I do have an appointment next week, but thought maybe someone here would be able to save me a trip to the dealer.

Thanks
Exact symptoms. In my case, the aircon compressor bearing was worn and somehow causing communication interruptions to the engine management system that triggered the ima, battery and d light problem. Sometimes the check engine light comes on. Replacing the compressor solved the problem.
