Default City vs Highway emissions

Hi! I am currently in the market for a new car and am trying to decide if a hybrid is right for me. My main concern is with emissions, not fuel economy. I have searched and searched on the internet for the answer to this question but found nothing. I have read that fuel economy is better realized in city vs. highway driving, but what about emissions? I routinely put 25,000 miles a year on my vehicles and I'd say 70 percent of that is highway. Does anyone know how much greater my emissions would be on the highway as opposed to urban? Thank you!
