Default Auto Stop in Defrost

I live in Pittsburgh, its been really cold the last few days.

Ive noticed in defrost mode my FEH will still auto stop. It has never done this before. I am thinking maybe the heater control switch panel went bad, although every other setting works.

My power outlet is also flashing green, otherwise, car is acting normal.

Anyone else ever have this issue?

Default Re: Auto Stop in Defrost

Auto stop will work any time all the conditions are being asked for are met for auto stop. The condition that typically isn't met in defrost is A/C not commanded on. You are getting auto stop because A/C systems do not turn on below a specific temperature (generally around 32) to protect themselves.

You have no issue.
