Default Can't find the jump start button...

Tried to find it from two 2008 FEH and 2009 FEH but no luck. The two 2008 were made in 02/2007. Does it mean ford removed the button after 02/2007?

Even though it still appears in the owners manual, it was definitely removed for the 2008 model year and up.

It doesn't appear in the 2009 manual so maybe they neglected to remove it from the 2008 manual.

Ah. It's in the 2009 Mariner manual. I assumed it was still in the Escape's.

You are correct... I checked my references, and I had been looking at the 2006 manual at the time. I probably flipped the 6 in my head.

I can say with 100% certainty, the 2009 does not have the jump start system. The power converter for charging is housed IN the battery. There's a big gaping space in the pack where it used to be.

Thanks,

Steve
