You discharged traction battery. 12 V battery has NONE to do with actual engine crank. It's traction battery that does this. This is why Toyota says to start engine every other week to keep traction battery charged.
Tow her to dealer and have them recharge the battery. It's $150 I believe. It is what it is.
Next time, have someone trusted to show up and either start the car till all battery bars are green or drive around till same accomplished.

One thing of note, your 12 volt (not your traction) battery has to have enough voltage to boot the computers. If it discharged while undone, you could have the situation you describe where the lights will come on but not have sufficient voltage to boot the onboard systems. Have someone check and charge (if necessary) the 12 volt battery. If that battery is OK as is, You will need to dig a little deeper.

You know why I like you a lot? You are very helpful AND never get upset.
I am a stickler, David. Comes with work. Besides, everyone is so confused on **** hybrids anyway, no need to add more.
You are a great guy, David. Much appreciated having you here.
