accessories: FE, WL, R7, Z1...what are these?
Greetings all,
My TCH is due to arrive to dealership next week. (placed order approx 1 month ago)
Dealer faxed me the Vehicle Inquiry Report, with VIN and other
information, among which:
Factory installed accessories: FE, HM
Port installed accessories: WL, R7, Z1
Total retail price for accessories is $661 (dealer price $445)
I wonder what these codes represent, except for HM which I believe stands for heated mirrors I have no idea what the rest are.
Can anyone post your guess?
I did not want any options at all when ordering but can live with paying an extra $660. Just curious what they are...
Thanks!

Re: accessories: FE, WL, R7, Z1...what are these?
Going by memory:
FE - Fifty State Emissions
WL - Wheel Lock(?)
R7 - Rear Spoiler Lip
Z1 - Premium Accessory Package (Floor Mats Cargo Net, etc)
I used to know this like the back of my hand when I was researching my TCH!

Thanks Jeffeynboo!
Sounds about right!
To bad for me, eding up paying for that spoiler, I don;t care for it,
actually I would prefer not to have it at all!
Anyway, I'm glad to make it in time before the tax credit
goes half....I didn;t think I'd make it, a month ago!
Will follow up with other posts.
This group is quite interesting
Cheers!

Also, the cargo net is standard in the Hybrid so I'm not sure what's included in the Z1 package.

Thanks for your reply dalerb
Yes, fax shows R7, not 7R..
Anyway, I suppose they are the same.
Don't think it's P7.
I also believe that cargo net is standard, perhaps
the Z1 refers to floor and cargo mats + emergecy kit.
I haven't had a chance to speak to dealer yet, will follow up
here after taking delivery.

Re: accessories: FE, WL, R7, Z1...what are these?
yes the cargo net is standard, but many of the dealers are getting the Z1 package (at $277) which is the floor and cargo mats, the cargo net and first aid kit - IMO if you are getting the floor mats at delivery, you are better off just getting that (at $199) or waiting and getting it from an online parts place (at around $145) rather than basically spending $78 for a first aid kit (no, you do not get 2 cargo nets if Z1 is on your order and the retail on the first aid kit is $29). I was originally told Z1 included the glass breakage sensor - as the Z1 does on the XLE - but when I went for delivery and it was not included, I gently complained and they took the entire $277 off...
