As i fix one problem another comes up...
recently i was forced to swap out the ABS Pump - pushed it back 4 months but eventually it had to be replaced
So... this happens in order.
I parked the car and take out the ABS relays -the next day the 12v battery is completely dead.
I charge the 12V back up 2 weeks later - once i ordered the part and had my mechanic install it
Car starts up engine and all and immediately dies. all lights are up engine can be turned on but it keeps turning off.
i checked with the computer scan to see whats going on and i get new codes ( FUN! )
CODES:
C1259 HV Control system regen C1310 HV system
and this code while the car was live tested
P2118 Throttle actuator control motor
My friend suggested it might be the HV ECM but would like other opinions and do some research on my own
thanks in advance

Re: As i fix one problem another comes up...
not sure either, the terminals were very corroded so i cleaned it and charged the battery, holds charge and its turning on and off
i THOUGHT the 12v had something to do the with abs relay i took out and left out or something. honestly not too sure and it died literally a day after the abs pump died completely. the 2 weeks was when i charged it back up

"holds charge" = ?
You've confirmed that the battery is able to deliver an acceptable portion of it's rated capacity?
You've confirmed the battery can deliver high current for 10-15 seconds and hold voltage?
Or "holds charge" = I measured the voltage
Voltage does not confirm a good battery. Have the battery load tested.

Re: As i fix one problem another comes up...
A bad 12V can cause or appear to cause almost any code.
Step 1 in a hybrid is to get 100% confirmation the 12V battery is good.
Also, what are you using to pull codes?

Re: As i fix one problem another comes up...
the battery is apperently 4 years old so... almost no cranks left in it... 100 about
11.7 v holding
ill be charging it up ( maybe i didnt give it enough time ) to hit 12v and see.
i have a spare battery which is newer just been sitting there that needs to be charged too.
and i am using Toyota Techstream V12.20.024

"100 about"? I don't know what you're saying.
If you mean it's 11.7V resting voltage, it is a very dead battery.
Properly charging a 12V battery typically requires charging to 14.4-14.8V at a 0.1C rate for 10+ hours.
Your spare battery is likely bad too. Letting 12V batteries sit in a discharged state ruins them. They need to be fully charged every 3-6 months to maintain health.
