Should I get the CAMRY HYBRID rustproofed by KROWN?
I really need good advise on this. Has anyone gotten their hybrid rustproofed by KROWN? Can the petroleum based chemical damage the insulation of the high voltage cables.
Thanks

I've told by a number of people in the industry that just like asphalt driveway sealer, rust proofing the underside of cars is a waste of money.

Its not about sealing. KROWN is a oil based rust proofing that has to be applied every year and it remains on the entire body of your car. It is sprayed in a mist solution inside all the door, bonnet, trunk, body panels and the underside. The only downside being that it might affect rubber components. In Canada we get a lot of salt, snow, moisture here. Temperature ranges from -30C to +30C.

They use galvanized steel these days so all auto-body parts are rust proofed before they are painted.

Any modern car is e-coated by dipping after it is formed. Unless you have had body damage from a wreck that was not repaired correctly, I doubt that you will ever have any rust in the NORMAL lifetime of the car.
