Default Window Sticker replacement?

My friend just purchased a used '07 TCH. However, since it was used, the previous owner lost the window sticker.
Do you know if there is any thing equivalent to this for Toyota?

Thanks!

Just a guess, but contact seller and ask for the name of the original dealer who sold them the car, maybe they have it in their records??

This makes me wounder....

Does anyone know if we should keep the window sticker for our records?

Personally, I have mine and it is in perfect condition - I almost framed it - because it was never applied to the car since mine was a factory order.

When you sell a car, the more documetation you have the better.
I sold a 280ZX and handed the prospective buyer a stack of service receipts (mainly oil, etc.). He said "wow, you really took good care of the car!"
He decided to buy it five minutes later.
Not all transactions will be so easy, but the more paper you have, the better you (and the car) look in the eyes of the buyer.

Indeed. I agree that keeping detailed records is the best.

What on earth are you people talking about?! haha, no, I'm not really that dazed or confused, or amazed. I'm assuming you're talking about the low emission vehicle sticker and whatnot, right?

We are talking about the large "sticker" that is on the window of every new car on a dealer's lot that indicates the specifications, installed options, price, EPA estimate, VIN, and so on. For example, see: http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...CU96H36KC81917

Ohhhhh, I see. No idea where mine is, if I kept it. My dealer in PA had to go to New York to find my car, and then I had the cloth seats swapped out for leather heated ones, so I don't even recall if I ever saw the original "sticker"...I received it with 299 miles on the odo and it was sitting in the showroom when I went to pick it up. It was an oh so beautiful sight!
