Wood grain for the dash in the TCH
My wife and I have a new TCH that we love and we have been getting about 42 mpg. We purchesed a Ti silver with the ash leather, and we really liked the wood grain trim but it was not avaliable option.
I have found a place where you can get the kit to put the wood grain in your car. Go to , http://www.wooddash.com/item/TOYOTA_...AMRY_2007_UP_8 you can get the olive wood dash or any of about 15 others take a look

I'm about >this< far from ordering a kit. There are some less expensive kits on ebay and I'm wondering about their quality.
There are quite a few in the $150 to $160 range.

Re: Wood grain for the dash in the TCH
I have searched and have not found recent photos of the wood kit in the TCH. I am considering getting the Wooddash.com kit by Sherwood. Anyone have this that can post real photos? Any dislikes?

Re: Wood grain for the dash in the TCH
I installed mine September 2007 and bought the kit from WOWtrim for $172.
Easy installation, no regrets and I'd do it again.
I also replaced the console with one out of a se, it looks much better, I think.
I tried to save 3 images and attach them to this email, let's see if that worked.

Very nice result indeed. I know some are split on the looks, but me and my wife like the wood trim. Is you kit manufactured by the people you bought it from? Looks like pretty good quality.

Re: Wood grain for the dash in the TCH
I have my suspicions there are only a few manufacturers.
Let's see, in the transaction, they referred to themselves at different times as WOWtrim and Veneerz. When I was researching kits, it seemed most of the 'manufacturers' used the same pictures and some even used the same part numbers.
Mine is Japanese Cherry.
