'05 HCH CVT rumbles on acceleration
Haven't posted here in a LONG time. Recently my '05 HCH CVT, 72,000 miles has started to make a "rumble" from the front end when I accelerate from a stop. Worse when going uphill, hardly noticeable when going downhill. Is this the symptom of the CVT clutch problem that was under a recall and would I still be eligible? Thanks for any help.

Yeah, that sounds like the usual symptoms. Have you had the transmission fluid changed? Honda CVT fluid is the correct one to use. Sometimes that helps.
Other than that, here's some info regarding the start clutch, and there are several threads here if you do a "search".

There's also another service bulletin regarding CVT drive belt slippage, that's service bulletin #07-050

You're probably covered; I'm not sure if it goes by the date of first purchase or the date of manufacture of your car, but hopefully you still fall within that time frame.
