HCH 1 05 convert to MT?

Smile HCH 1 05 convert to MT?
I have an 05 with cvt, at 160k, going well, no apparent problems. In process of buying a grid charger to extend battery life.
Can I drop a 5 speed in if/when my cvt goes down?
