Autostop not engaging

Autostop not engaging
Curious...I got my oil changed 3 weeks ago and have lost about 9 MPG. I normally get around 41 - 43 mpg. I noticed today that the autostop is not engaging.
I am due for a 12v battery replacement. Are the two issues related - the depleted 12v and the autostop/loss of 9mpg?

Re: Autostop not engaging
Unlikely they are related. Have you experienced a significant temperature drop in the last 3 weeks?
Weak 12V can strain the IMA, so it could be contributing.
Confirm oil level. Confirm 0W-20 synthetic was put in. Confirm IMA system is operating normally, and you're not getting excessive recals.
Get that 12V replaced ASAP. Recommend 51R in place of OEM 151R. Have to remove the plastc battery shrouds, and it's a wee bit tight, but a MUCH better option from a CCA and capacity standpoint... less strain on IMA system DC-DC converter.
