Thumbs down Rear-ended on the highway!

I was driving home from work and I got rear-ended while stopped in traffic on Rte 95 around Boston. My car was the first to get hit, which was forced to crash into the car in front of me, and then the car in front of that. So 4 cars total.

The body is warped now and I'm trying to figure out for myself how much damage this entails before I take it to the insurance shop to get it appraised. I've never been in an accident so I'm really paranoid that people are going to try to take me for a ride.

I took some pictures of the trunk spare-tire well, and I was hoping I could get someone (one of you) to take a few pictures in a similar fashion so I can compare before to after. There are some extra creases that I'm pretty sure shouldn't be there.

That is to bad! It will be more expensive than you think. Take it to a good body shop and it should be like new again. Hal

Awww Maaan, sorry, it doesn't look that bad but in reality could be totaled, sorry for that bit of woe, but bit both ends damaged it might be too expensive to fix... my accident which invloved the driver side back door to the back end of the car, trunk lid and some of the rear axle was $12,500...I insist on a Honda certified body shop & Honda parts. Oh yeah, I was also supprised the parts were not the most expensive, PAINT was nearly 1/2 the total repair bill!!!
