Lifter gone bad usually. Cylinder #1 is a de-activating cylinder and the lifters are "special" on the V8/V4 de-activating cylinders.
Did you get the dealer to run the scan tool on the HV battery for system voltages and State Of Charge SOC %?
If that SOC gets low... you will be putting in a new battery. The scan tool can ONLY apply the Jump Assist charge down to only so much.

OK they replaced the spring and pushrod and it drives, but I am skeptical. If I trade it back in he's only gonna give me 13,000 so I want to keep it so I don't get screwed, gonna put some miles on it this weekend and then hopefully get the soc% by a dealership that told me they had one hybrid certified .OK so while the engine is running the driver side blows 100% heat!? Wtf not impressed at all

If it's running it's charging. The heat/AC may have lost its mind and need the actuator doors re-calibrated. The system "might" figure itself out on its own.
That system is not unique to hybrid. But dealer scan tool again.
