UPDATE:

Finally, got a call back from GM after many days of playing phone tag. Customer Service didn't have any answers...told me to get a second opinion! Really??? I'm done with these guys. What a joke.

Hybrid was acting up today again...put the car in Reverse and CEL came on and 'reduced engine power' and 'service traction' something???

So take it or tow it to a different dealer and insist that they read ALL codes and obtain the Freeze Frames to send to GM.

I think GM warranty is only until 100k miles. you might need an aftermarket one.

Then the next time it happened they said it was the Catalytic Converter...that was change and it still did not fix the problem. I took it in the last time just recently and they reflashed the ECM and said they still don't know what is causing the problem...they supsect it is the aftermarket wheels and tires that is causing the vehicle to stall? The advisor said that Hybrids are very sensitive when it comes the the computer and torque calculation. Does anyone have any idea of what it causing this problem???

Thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome to the Green Hybrid Forums.
Below is just some additional basic info for POAC4 on the GM Hybrids,
https://www.autocodes.com/search_codes.php?q=POAC4 <You'll need to scroll down.. Plus even though it doesn't really matter, there's one for Chevy, GMC, Cady, and others which is all almost the same but all the info combined is a little helpful to help understand the problem a bit better.

P061B:
From the following link regarding P061B is some copy and paste basic info, https://www.autocodes.com/tsb/gmc/sierra_1500/2008.html

It sounds like when these two codes are offered together, a battery fix is necessary.

Interestingly, I can't get freeze frame data when my Tahoe jerks, freezes and shuts off, turning on the check engine light. By the time I can get to a dealer to get freeze frame data pulled, the light goes off, and no data is available. I don't reset it, it "fixes" itself.

I need to find a local battery refresher.
