Default 2009 Denali Hybrid Question - Easy

Went to the auto parts store to buy fluids and filters for my new purchase. I told him that I had a 2009 Denali Hybrid, and then he asked what size engine. I told him that I thought it was a V8, but he said there were 3 varities?
I guess I have two questions:
1) how do I know what type (# of liters I suppose) of engine I have?
2) I know that this answer won't be 100% certain, but in general, if I'm browsing youtube, what years/models is the Denali close enough to such that I can probably watch the video and it will (mostly) apply to my car (change of struts, oil, bulbs, etc)? 2008-20XX Yukon, Denali, Escalade, Silverado?..... If there is a general rule of thumb that would be very helpful.

thanks in advance for your help.
Brad
(Super excited in his 2009 Hybrid Denali - 105,700 miles)

Would you also use the Mobil 1 extended life filter ($15.99 at the auto parts store)?

Thoughts on my questions #2?

Thanks for your reply.

I use either pure one, ac delco or Mobil oil filter that comes free if I buy a whole gallon and 1 quart.

As for #2 everything applies in terms of oil changes, etc.

In regards to my question #2, it goes beyond oil changes. My driver side mirror doesn't retract. I would like to know, when searching on eBay or youtube for parts or how to fix videos (I realize that the mirror can't be fixed) what years and vintage of cars will have mostly similar parts?
