New guy with a few questions
Hello, Im glad to have found a forum for hybrid suv/trucks! I have a 2009 silverado. Im on the silverado sierra forum but they don't have a whole lot of answers on hybrid questions. Ive had my 09 since july of 2015, purchased with 116k and now to 126k with no problems..Heres my questions.
How long can i except on average the hybrid battery to last?
I know the max tow pounds, however i don't have the tow/haul button on my shifter so do i just select drive and go? I haven't towed yet but i do not want to destroy my tranny.
I'm wanting to level with bilstein 5100's and install a 275/65r18 vs the stock 265/65r18. Will this damage any of the hybrid components or cause faster wear?
Thanks for the help!

Re: New guy with a few questions
The battery cells are the exact same as Toyota Prius uses, just 6 more of them.
You should get 200k or more miles.
If you keep your trailer total weight under 6500 pounds, just drive it. The hybrid will figure it out and use the appropriate mode/gear.
