Some great info here, I have trying to figure out how to use this wireless OBD reader that connects to my phone. I have yet to figure out how to enter user defined pid to get the soc and current and such. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I can ever get the first one I believe I could figure out the rest

This all depends on what software you are using on the phone.

Here is what I use with Torque (it is the contents of the custom PID .csv file).

- Battery 21 & 22 are suspect. Best I can tell, there are 20 battery units in the Tahoe & equivalent. Included here in case they are useful in other applications

If you had asked 2 days ago, I'd said you had to type it all in. But April Fools day has passed us by :-)

Torque allows you to import custom PID's using a .csv file. They call it " Add Predefined set". With your Torque device,
- Plug it into the PC and set it so that it can be browsed by your PC
- Browse ->your device ->the storage location (internal or external memory) Torque is installed ->.torque->extendedpids
- Copy the file called "other.csv".
- Save it to your PC
- Open with notepad (use the *.* filter to see the file)
- Copy & paste the PIDs list I posted into the file
- Save-as and give it a new name such as TahoeHybrid.csv
- The file contains an example PID which you can delete if you want. Just keep the header row (with the .csv descriptors)
- Then, using the file browser on your PC, copy & paste TahoeHybrid.csv to the .torque-> extendedpids directory
- In Torque tap the main screen gear icon and then tap Settings
- Then tap Manage extra PIDs/sensors
- In upper RH screen, tap the 3 vertical dots
- now tap "Add predefined list" and select "TahoeHybrid"

It will load all the pids in the TahoeHybrid.csv file you saved to the Torque device

If you have a MAC. it is up to you to translate the above into apple-speak.

I was building a PID database for Torque and noticed the two temperature PIDs above use the exact same TXD/RXF/RXD/MTH. Does anyone know which is correct, and what the incorrect one should be?

I think the NAM: MIN vs CTA defines minimum or average.

OK - now that I'm at a desktop, I can perhaps type a little more coherently. I successfully imported the PIDs into Torque. I can see the instant status of each of the values, which is good. What I'd like to be able to do is export a graph while driving of the battery levels over time. Does Torque allow me to do that? If so, how?

Did anyone get this working? The Prius and Powerstroke guys seem to have a leg up on the GMC Hybrid crowd as far as PID's go.
