Considering a 2013 Fusion Energi
While I have owned Escape and Accord hybrid in the past I was surprised to learn that there was a Fusion plug in that has been out since 2013. Well I found one that has 31k and loaded with all options and wondering anyone has experience/opinions on this platform. I like the idea of all electric driving for up to 20 miles since my job is 15 miles away. Maybe I'll bring an extension cord and "borrow" some 120v and try to get all electric transportation.

Here is a forum devoted to the Energi: http://www.fordfusionenergiforum.com/
The 2013+ Fusion hybrids are a completely different car from the previous models. Some of the early 2013+ had problems with mold in the AC plenum that required dash removal to replace a poorly designed plenum. They had premature transmission failures and oil leaks and some other minor problems. You should thoroughly inspect a car to look for these problems. So far, Ford has not been covering the transmission failures past the hybrid warranty period. If these problems are not applicable or have been attended to in a given car, it should be OK.
