2009 FEH - p0a7c (again..)

Re: 2009 FEH - p0a7c (again..)
Hi all - I have a 2010 FEH Limited with about 135K miles. We just moved our daughter to Missouri and guess what, once I hit 65+mph the wrench light came on and threw the P0A7C code. No SSN messages, no engine performance degradation, and as soon as I stop and turn off then back on, the wrench goes away. My MECS pump and fluid was changed out about 2 years ago by a shop. I can hear it running (it's the new design - smaller and all plastics) actually quite loudly - just sitting in the cabin with windows closed and the key in the ON position you can definitely hear it. I can see coolant flowing in the reservoir but it is very low volume but others have said the same of there's. I'd like to check for trapped air in the system and want to bleed the MECS coolant system which can be done on the front transaxle housing (12mm bolt), but I can't find any pictures of a 2010/11/12 showing exactly where that bleeder screw is. I took this picture and wonder if this bolt is the bleeder screw on my 2010 FEH?? Thanks in advance!
Is this the MECS coolant bleeder screw??

Thanks Shady, so the bolt I circled in my picture (it is on the right side towards the back/firewall) is not the bleeder, correct? How do I locate it - can you see it from the engine bay, or only from underneath the vehicle? Do you have a picture of it, or maybe a diagram? Cheers.

Re: 2009 FEH - p0a7c (again..)
I did a xmission drain and refill with Motorcraft LV fluid this morning, and did some more searching for the bleeder screw, and I found this 12mm bolt at the top of the eCVT by standing in front of the grill and leaning over the air filter box - I do recall somewhere somebody mention theirs was under a low voltage (12v) plug, which does seem to fit this guy. Can anyone confirm this is the actual bleeder screw??

Can't find it either. Here's a couple relevant posts:

Welp, a lot of other stuff came up and never got around to doing this yet. Was going to take it to a friends house tomorrow to do it, but we totally forgot to start the dang thing periodically and now the hybrid battery is discharged. Is there any simple way to charge it, or gotta way that I believe you posted about in here with making your own charger?

The simple way would be to pay your Ford dealer $1500+ for them to get the "official" charger and charge your HVTB. The simple practical way is to build S.Keith's charger and install the cable. If there was an easier way to charge an '09-'12 we wouldn't be building chargers and installing cables.

S Keith's charger setup is by far the best option. You'll be very, very lucky if you can even find a Ford dealership that has the factory charger and after that ordeal they will charge YOU mightily to use it. Follow his instructions, build his charger, hook it up and do it the way he says. It is by far the cheapest and best option out there but you have to use some care.
It's not difficult but you should take your time and be careful.
