2009 FEH P1450-C Check engine code
 

I own a 2009 FEH with 185k miles - have had it since new and it is a great vehicle, but I recently had an interesting experience.

For about a month I had been hearing random "clunk" sound from the rear of the vehicle, just going along on smooth flat roads at 30-45 mph. About the same sound as the vehicle running over a piece of debris. After a month I got check engine code P1450-C "Unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum”. I took it to my mechanic and he replaced the gas vapor canister purge valve. Since then I have not heard a single "clunk".

Was this "clunk" sound related to the purge valve not working?
