Sunroof question

I met a fellow yesterday that has a 2005 FEH awd and he states that his sunroof closes when he locks his car from the outside. My 2008 doesn'r do thet Is that a feature the dealer can turn on/off?

The 2005 FEH did not offer a sunroof option.

I wish that my 08 would do that. I left it open the other day (for the first time ever by the way) and we had a pop-up thunderstorm that got everything wet.

Is he sure... my '06 does not do that. I'm not sure I'd want it to either... sometimes I like to leave it cracked for cooling.

Did he mention if he is using the remote on the key fob or the key pad on the door? For a long time the key pads had extra features when locking/unlocking if you hit extra keys in sequence.

I haven't had a Ford equipped with one in a long time so I don't really remember the details.
