ELF EVOLUTION 0W30 Motor Oil

Anyone else read up about this?

They claim, "up to 10% fuel economy" on their website. Of course, that means anything between 0% and 10%. Or, it could mean you get up to 10% of your current fuel economy! But that wouldn't make sense. Why market an oil which drops your 50 mpg FE to 5 mpg! ;)

In Green Car Journal, they say an independent study of this motor oil, "can reduce fuel usage by as much as six percent in city driving conditions." But, who's independent study? Heck, I can go out there and do an independent study.

But either way, would any of you switch to this motor oil if it increased your fuel economy by as much as they say it can?

I got a really great deal on some M1 recently, so I won't need to buy oil until my 90,000 mile oil change. :) But, if it did what it said, and it cost about the same as M1, I'd probably switch.

I'd definiltely like to learn more about this.. its cost.. and what it has been tested on and if they have any guarantees. Just nervous using oil with a weight different than spec'd by the vehicle manufacturer :) Understandably.
