40kW @ 288V nominal is 139A... not much higher than the Prius given the lower voltage of the Prius.

Again, 1V is WAY too high. Anything larger than 0.3V at the currents captured is out of sorts. Even at 120A, I've never seen more than 0.6V momentary deltaV.

$2400? That's Freaking cheap.

$2400 when you give them the old battery. ~ $1500 core charge.


And yes a good battery behaves just like you said.

That's still a fantastic deal. It's literally exactly the same as a Lexus battery in terms of the type and number of modules. The Lexus battery is way up there.

It's less than the Prius battery with only 28 modules. Camry battery is WAY more with only 34 modules.

Kudos to GM for their sensible pricing... :)

Just need some folks out there bench testing modules and swapping out the weak ones for these guys.


The Allison Hybrid Bus used six ( 6 ) 40 module packs on the roof. It has its own air conditioning system.
