I would guess $6k off sticker. about $71k for the regular hybrid 4wd and $81k for the platinum. if it is in anyway used, then there can be leeway. btw, I searched at cars.com and only see three nationwide new.

I've been following this forum for a while. Thought I was signed up but guess not. Until two weeks ago, I have absolutely loved my 09 Tahoe hybrid. Except for the door locks and oil pressure which I fixed myself. Currently have 121,000 miles on my DEAD HyHoe. Last winter, here in PA, the 2Mode wouldn't operate until the battery got comfortably warm. About a month ago the truck wouldn't start with a "Service Hybrid System" code that mysteriously cleared after I jump started it. Now it sits dead in my driveway with the same message and no start. Tried new 12v battery, disconnect and reconnect hybrid battery, remote start, even killed a chicken and dripped its blood on the engine while dancing counterclockwise around the snow covered vehicle. (Yes, snow.) Waiting for nearby (25mi) dealer to go for service some time next week. I guess the Chevy key problem and lack of qualified Hybrid techs is setting them back. Even after this is fixed, I am not sure I trust it any more. It's a great tow vehicle and I love it...but... Anyone have any idea how to coax it into starting?

Don't try to restart it yet. Try to trickle charge it for at least 12 hours and I see you have a new 12v battery. Try to start it only one time. If that didn't do the trick then your hybrid battery might be dead. Tow it to the dealer of your liking or one that will give you a correct evaluation. A code of P0BBB indicates that you hybrid battery is dead and may need a replacement( it's the one underneath the 2nd row seat). A quick install by your dealer will set you back $3500.00. By the way, did the engine turn but will not fire up? It can be a fuel pump issue as well. I had my fuel pump replaced because that was the issue but they inadvertently replaced. my hybrid battery. That was at 183k miles. I have 188k miles now with no issues.

I have read that the hybrid battary can be installed for as little as $1,800/$2,200 i would do some resesrch if they try to sell ua new battary and they are designed and expected to last a full 300,000 miles but i have not had a issue as of yet at 137000 miles other then a passanger seat that moves a bit when i move from a dead stop.

I ran accross those numbers on other hybrid message boards
When i was doing my research on the truck i did end up buying
I have seen numbers as high as what u paid to as low as what i mentioned the lowest at $1800 and some change was as memory serves a very good deal and to expect in the low $2000 if mine does need replacemant i hope to pay no more then $2200 but cross my fingers that no one here has to endure such a cost ....
