Honda Online Parts store

Hi,

I'm reaching my 60k maintenance interval and was wondering where would be a great place to buy the following at a decent price:

- brake pads
- coolant
- transmission fluid
- possibly spark plugs (if needed)

Thanks, :)

Anthony

Why do you think you need brake pads, coolant and spark plugs? Those are 100K interval items.

FYI, after you pay shipping on these items, you would have paid as much as buying these items from your local dealer.

The plugs I'm sure I could wait @ 100k. Although, the pads because they're squealing and the Dealer had recommended they be replaced when they swapped out my IMA battery during a basic routine check-up. As for coolant, if I recall correctly from the manual it was recommended to be flushed every 60k.

The $tealer quoted me @~$500 for the following:
- Transmission flush
- Coolant flush
- brakes (front only) w/ brake flush
- wiper blades replaced
- headlight fluid replaced - free of charge (j/k) :P

I'm sure I could get these parts for just about $100 and do the job myself and still save $$$

So are there any sites to recommend? I'm pretty much lazy to drive to the dealer and rather have my parts shipped to my house and avoid the temptation of getting a new car :P

Here is one online dealer:

http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com/

and another:

http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/

for 60K, you will need to change both the air and cabin filter,

Change the CVT fluid,

Change the engine oil and filter,

Rotate the tires,

at 3 years flush the brake fluid.

at 100K replace the spark plugs

at 120 -150K miles replace the coolant.

Brake pad squealing can be cured by chamfering the leading and trailing ends of the pads, and applying some anti-squeal goop on the piston cup face.

Costs?

Here is an example of maintenance parts costs
