Hi all, okay, my steering started making the noise (described very fittingly by the OP) a couple of months ago. The dealer said today that they need to replace the front strut. Does anyone know what the warranty is on these things and how much they typically cost to replace? My dealer quotes $582 for replacing driver's side front strut! I have a 07 HCH II with 64.3K miles...
