Warranty Extension: Uneven or Rapid Tire Wear
Campaign: L82
For 2006-2008 Honda Civic Hybrid Honda Canada sent a letter stating they will replace rear upper control arms for 6 months (starting Oct 2013) and pay for the last worn out tires caused by defective camber. It is not for any safety concerns but for customer satisfaction. Although I have not owned the specific Civic Hybrid for over 3 years and only owned it for 1.5 years I had this problem and talking to both the dealer and Honda Canada they would not investigate why 2 sets of tires would be wore out after 10,000 KM (6,000 miles). Its way too late for customer satisfaction as I traded the Honda Civic Hybrid and bought a Toyota Prius. Hopefully others can benefit from this information and stay Loyal. |
Re: Warranty Extension: Uneven or Rapid Tire Wear
Same here... Too little, too late for me too.
I am now the happy owner of a Toyota Camry Hybrid 2013. I'm glad I got rid of the HCH when I first started getting IMA problems last summer. |
