Clicking Noise when turning the key off

I have had my HAH for about a year now and has 25K km on it. I am very happy with this car's performance. Recently I started hearing this thump/clicking noise from the battery area in side the car a fraction of second after turning the key off. The dealer says nothings wrong. Has anyone experience this. I sound more like the engine back firing, but does not happend when engine auto-stops. Thanks in advance for your help.

the noise is coming from the 144v battery area?
look at the battery cooling fan, maybe?

How loud are we talking? To me a thump and a click are very different noises. If it is just a click I would guess that it is a relay somewhere. I'll bet there are some pretty hefty relays associated with the IMA.

yes. IIRC, the 144v battery is disconnected when the key is off. It would take a lot of contamination or degradation inside the relay to make an audible click through the seatback, though. But can't hurt to have it checked.

Are you sure its coming from where you think? Sometimes sounds can sound like they are coming from a different location. I have fog lights and the foglight relay clicks pretty loud if I have them on when I turn on and off the car.
