This is disconcerting to me as well. If it's a deal breaker then I might go for the Michelin Energy Saver A/S, but it's pricey...

FWIW, the Ecopia is called summer only, but it still came in best in "Wet Braking", in the the TireRack tests.

We have dedicated snow tires on rims, so I might just go for Ecopia to replace our OEM Insignias, when the time comes.
