Check engine light on 2006HCH
 

About 4/5 months ago I got my first hybrid, a 2006 honda civic hybrid. It had around 77,000 miles on it and since then I've put on a couple more. The day after I bought it, the check engine light and IMA light turned on. I got it checked out and luckily it was just under warranty so I got a brand new battery!

Fast foward to now, about a couple weeks ago when I stopped at a red light, it auto stopped like normal, but then it started again, then auto stopped, then started, and continued to do that until the light was green again and I drove. It's happen twice since then. And it's not like I was taking my foot off the break or anything it would just freak out. 5 days ago my check engine light was on and I figured it was just my gas cap not on all the way because I remembered last time I got gas my hands were too numb to screw it on. So I red crewed the cap on. However, the light is still on. And honostly if the issue was the gas cap, the check engine light would have came on right after I got gas right?

Any guesses of whats the issue? The IMA light isn't on just the check engine. Also do you think it'll be ok to drive it the next few days untill the weekend when I can get it checked out?
