HCH II to HCH I CVT Swap

Does anyone have a listing of the HCH II and HCH I CVT transmission differences. I am wondering if it is possible to swap a CVT from an 06 to an 03 as they seem to be more reliable and more readily available on the used market.

I want to see someone successfully do this. I have HCHI issues and a HCHII parts car.
