faulty instantaneous mileage readout?
I just posted a couple of pictures of my dashboard readout in the photo gallery (album name: Faulty instantaneous readout?)
I would love to be able to say that I am getting 150mpg on my way to work but I think it is my readout going south. When I start up the car the readout steadily goes all the way up to the max 150 and stays there no matter what I do with the acceleration. Even stays there when I am using Motor assist. It does drop down to 0 when I stop. Somethings must be wrong. Has anyone else experienced this? |
Re: faulty instantaneous mileage readout?
That's really weird; I've never heard of anything like what you describe.
I wonder if they can do a computer reset to see if that might help. |
Re: faulty instantaneous mileage readout?
You can do a PC reset by removing one of the battery posts on the engine battery for a few sec., then reinstall it. Worth a try. Also check for a bad fuse! Hal
