The problem is that this comparison is between a PHEV and a hybrid. Of course the emissions will be lower* for a PHEV. Why didn't they do the obvious and compare it to another phev?
*Of course, they also leave out any attempt to quantify emissions from the electricity generated to charge up the car. |
