Constant squeal/high pitch noise
Has anybody had a problem with a constant squeak in the rear wheels when your backing up and going at speeds under about 40? Sounds like a sound your brakes make when they are worn and you apply them but in my case it is constant until I get up to faster speeds. Help

Re: Constant squeal/high pitch noise
That sounds like the classic "seized slide pin" problem. Common on these cars if you do not do a regular service on the brakes. One or more of the slide pins on the calipers is more than likely seized and your pads are probably wearing at a weird angle. Pull the rear wheels, calipers and pads and have a look.

glazed rotors. I had to de-glaze mine for the squeal to go away. Soft brake pads won't do this.
