Costco's Kirkland Signature Gas is now in the Top-Tier list
Costco has been added to the top tier list.

Hopefully they don't lower their standards to Top Tier level. I recall the Top Tier needs about 2 times the EPA minimum additive, while Costco Clean Power had 5 times the additive....

That sounds good to me. Wish we had a Costco station like the one in El Paso that was less than 80 miles from where we live.
I don't see why Costco would need to put in any expensive additives to go way above the top tier requirements to keep your engine clean.
I did a gas buddy search for Dallas, Texas. They list tom thumb, Kroger's, Sam's Club and Costco all at the same price of $3.38 for Regular gasoline for today.
Could be that Costco sells so much gas that would offset the extra cost or the extra additives.
I don't see why Costco would need to put in any expensive additives to go way above the top tier requirements to keep your engine clean.

What bothers me most is all these EPA level of additives selling their gas for the same price or higher then a good top tier brand of gas.
People are unaware of the extra additives in the top-tier-gas to keep their engines clean for the same price per gallon or even less than the government based additives.
