Glovebox, storage bin pads

10 Attachment(s)
I found a great accessory for the current generation Camry - non-slip pads for the glovebox, storage bins, cupholders, door bins and other cubbies. I've had these pads before, in a Honda Pilot and Scion xB, and was excited to discover that I could get them for my Camry Hybrid.

The seller has a store on eBay, and is a great guy to deal with.

ebay user ID: PadsPlus
ebay store: http://stores.ebay.com/PadsPlus

The pads arrived in perfect condition, with complete instructions and labeling that made it easy to install the pads in the proper location. Below are pictures of the pads in the packaging, and installed in the car. It even includes a pad for a rear console storage shelf in regular Camry's, but our Hybrids have A/C vents there instead.

I'll probably get a set.

Question -- do the pads have adhesive on the bottom or do they just lay in the "slots" so they can be removed to clean under them? (For those times when liquid escapes from cups/cans. :()

The pads do not have adhesive on them, but come with a sheet of double sided sticky pads if you wanted to use them. I just placed mine in each location without the sticky pads, and they're just fine, and easy to remove to clean under them if needed.

received mine and the pads fit nicely. However, it is missing a pad for the drivers side change drawer. Not sure if the regular Camry's have a drivers side change drawer. I am awaiting a reply from padsplus.

That could very well be the case, since they were designed around a regular Camry, and include a rear console bin pad, and our Hybrids have a/c vents there instead of a bin. I completely forgot about that bin, even though it holds the swipe card for the parking garage at work.

The drivers side change drawer IS padded.....

Re: Glovebox, storage bin pads

The change drawer is padded from the factory on the bottom of the drawer only. The sides and back are not padded, and they are hard plastic, so if you have enough change in there, the change does rattle. I simply put black colored electrical tape on the sides and back of the drawer, and that seems to be sufficient padding to quiet the change.

Off topic, but incase you aren't aware, coinstar issues vouchers for iTunes for full face value, that is, no fee.

Received a reply from padsplus...

"Made a pad for the coin tray. Will send it to you. Am adding it to the set. Would appreciate if you could post on greenhybrid and inform members if they would like this pad; just email me at padsplus@hotmail.com and I will send it to them free of charge."

Assuming he will send it to those who previously ordered from him, not to anyone who requests it. What a deal!

Pads are listed in The Market if you are interested in getting a set or you can purchase them on ebay.

Re: Glovebox, storage bin pads

Purchased a set on e-bay Tuesday, they were sent on Wednesday and I received today (Friday).:)

My only major complaint, PadsPlus (Wilson Wong) should have sent some dry, warm weather to assist in the installation. :( It's cold (well, relatively), rainy and quite windy right now, just south of D.C. I guess I'll need to wait until Sunday afternoon.

Although some double-stick tape was included in the package, I may use REAL small patches of Velcro patches to secure the rear seat armrest cup-holder pads so I can easily remove them (for cleaning spills).:lightbulb

Well after reading all of the great reviews on here I just bought my set. I've been looking at them for a while so I can't wait to get them.

Does anyone have any other good places to order neat or different accessories from for the TCH? It doesn't have to be on eBay, just somewhere reputable.

Thanks!

I got a set, too... they fit well, and the loose stuff in the bins and glove box doesn't make nearly as much noise as before.
