New Rear View Camera Option
 

Just noticed that TRD Sparks is offering a new accessory, RearSight Rear View Camera & Mirror see http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1767 Its a bit pricey, but I wonder if we can just order the camera and connect it to the NAV screen.

That is a cool idea: displaying the backup image in the rear view mirror! I like it a lot, but it is a bit pricey. I'd like to see how good the image is.

There is a lengthy thread in this forum about the procedure for installing a backup camera at https://www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/...ictures-11672/. I installed mine using this thread as my guide. I bought the Eclipse BEC 106 on eBay for about $184, but if you're patient, I think you can do better.

I know there are other options for a camera too, but I have been very happy with the Eclipse. The color picture is clear and bright.
