Pat,

If you have replaced the rear pads on a late model Toyota, you can replace them on a hybrid. They don't bite or electrocute you for looking at them. They are just like any other car with a few extras that need to be taken with care. The rear end is almost identical to a std Camry.

Same thing for the brakes on the front. Struts, springs, half shafts and other front and rear parts are basically the same.
