what type of engine oil?

I like to change engine oil but which oil to change?

I previously changed my oil to synthetic blend and costed me $99.

Can I now change to regular oil or once I change to synthetic, it has to be synthetic oil change this time too?

what other maintanance is needed for my camry 07 which has 7860 miliage?

I have changed oil once when it was 3k miles.

Jimmy,

Just did my 10000 mile maintenance. All you need to do is change the oil and rotate the tires. Back ones go on the front and front one go on the back. They stay on the same side of the car.

This link has some good information on what the service intervals are for the car.

As far as oil, it does not matter which kind you use (dino or Synthetic) just get 5w-20 or 0w-20. I used mobile 1 0w-20 synthetic and a filter I got at the toyota dealer.

Hope that helps,
Dave

I have used both the 5W-20 and 0W-20 oils and have had good fuel economy with both. The 0W-20 seemed to give a slight mpg boost after i started using it.

Re: what type of engine oil?

This is the first time I put it in. The dealer changed my oil the first time with valvoline so I am sure I did not get 0w-20. I figured I would try it this time to see if I get better mileage.

There are a lot of hills in western PA so I know that hurts my fuel economy. We also have a long trip planned for 2 weeks which we are taking the hybrid. We'll see what happens, I guess.
