Default Splash Guard preview pic

Well I really did'nt like the only color... black which Honda offered our splash guards in. So I took them to my local body shop and had them painted to match the car.

I havent washed it yet so I wont be actually mounting them till this WE.

The shop matched it to my color code and charged me $25.00 a flap. He had it done in three days !!

Oh ya... I only had him paint the outside as I was afraid the paint would have start chipping away after time.

dial-up warning !

The flaps look nice!

BTW, what do you have stuck in the front wheel? In the second photo, three of the "V" openings of the wheel look like they have something shoved or taped in there!

thanks...

I used my older digital camera and its flash for the pics. It's most likely the glare off the rotors from the flash.

Black looks nice on my Mag Pearl also. Has anybody installed the rear splash guards yet? I read the directions but was hoping I didn't need to drill holes all over the rear bumper like it states. The fronts were easy by using the pre-existing holes but has anyone installed the rear splash guards yet?

I have some install-pix of the front splash guards if people need to see them.

i have. easy. no drilling required. you will insert screws into 2 screw-ready plastic grommets and one pre-existing hole. the only difficulty was finding a short enough screwdriver for the innermost screw. you'll see what i mean.

IMHO, black does not clash with the silver either...

Just the color matched flaps look sharp. Especially on white cars. $100 seems like a lot of additional cost for color matching muds. But vanity does not come cheap!

They look really good, just hope the paint doesn't start to peel. Did they offer you any kind of warranty on the paint? I have mp so the black doesn't seem that bad.

I didn't get a choice with the mud flaps, dealer already installed and they weren't budging about removing it. I guess they look okay, sorta small, doesn't have anything written on them like most flaps. Honestly I hardly notice mines at all.
